There will be a mini version of John's brain based trauma/attachment specific TREATMENT MANUALS
for adolescents 12-14, 15-18 as well as developmentally delayed. This will be at one of the NAPN conference tables . These have already been in use for 15 months.
All the examples on display will show some experiential exercises for brain based treatment, examples of lesson plans and equipment.

He has received a BAFTA for his original show Lifting The Weight,( for young offenders) as well as awards from the American Correctional Association, The National Association of Drama Therapists. He is the clinical program developer and the original creator for AWARE of a therapeutic neurological program for adolescents in Melbourne, and has established therapeutic communities in Melbourne and Romania. His has contributed chapters to such books Art Approaches to Conflict ed. Liebmann M), The Safer Society Press training video entitled-An Introduction to Drama Therapy with Juvenile and Adult Sex Offenders, Longo and Prescott’s Current Perspectives: Working with sexually aggressive youth as well as to Current Approaches in Drama Therapy ed: Lewis and Johnson , Bergman and Hewish have also written a book : Challenging Experience, Experiential Exercises for the Treatment of Violent and Sexually Violent Men( now used in 15 countries)

We work internationally to make original change in criminal justice- whether a brain based program with adolescents, re-training 1000 officers in ethics , starting new therapeutic communities, creating original shows, poetry, plays with men, women and children who had never ever touched the uniqueness inside themselves- we try to find the new core.
